During the period starting on Customer's Order Form signup and ending July 31, 2021 ("Trial Period"), Attentive will provide up to 1M messages (MMS considered 2.5 messages per message) at no charge to the Customer. Messages containing images, video, contacts cards or gifs shall be considered MMS.
During the Trial Period, the Customer must inform Attentive of their cancellation of services by sending an email to cs@attentivemobile.com or by sending a letter to:

Unless cancelled by the customer, the service will automatically renew monthly until cancelled. Customers will be billed for the month in which the service is terminated.
Customer acknowledges and agrees that any rights it has to use a dedicated short code, long code or toll-free number shall automatically expire in the event Customer discontinues use of the Attentive service.
For customers who have selected to use the basic features of our Small Business (Starter) Plan during the launch process and have less than 10,000 subscribers:
Base Fee: The customer will be charged a flat monthly base fee of $299.
AND
Variable Fee: The customer will be charged monthly for the total volume of text messages sent and received in the calendar month. The messages will cost $.02 per USA text message and $.05 per USA multimedia message. Messages sent or received to Canadian users will cost $.05 per text message and $.08 per multimedia message.
Subscribers: Once total subscribers in a Starter Plan exceeds 10,000, the customer will be automatically moved into our Scale Plan.
For customers who have selected to use the basic features of our Scale Plan:
Base Fee: The customer will be charged a monthly base fee of $999.
Variable Fee: The customer will be charged monthly for the total volume of text messages sent and received in the calendar month. The messages will cost $.01 per USA text message (excluding carrier delivery fees) and $.025 per USA multimedia message (excluding carrier delivery fees). Messages sent or received to Canadian users will cost $.025 per text message (excluding carrier delivery fees) and $.06 per multimedia message (excluding carrier delivery fees).*
*In addition to a cost for every message, the carriers also charge a carrier delivery fee which varies by carrier and may change. In the USA, the average is currently ~$.0025 per SMS and ~$.007 per MMS. In Canada, the average is currently ~$.007 per SMS and ~$.01 per MMS. This is added on top of the cost provided in the cost column, and is billed by Attentive. These carrier delivery fees may change in the future.
For customers whom have selected to use features of our Enterprise Plan, those prices will be customized based on the needs of the customer.
For the USA, if a customer selects to purchase a dedicated shortcode, then they will be charged a quarterly fee of $1,500 for a random dedicated shortcode. For the USA, if the customer wishes to select a vanity shortcode, with the numbers of their choosing, then the total quarterly fee will be increased to $4,500. For Canada, shortcode pricing to be provided upon request.
The GSM character set allows up to 160 characters (including spaces) within a single message. However, if you include any non-GSM characters within your message, the character set will automatically fall back to the Unicode character set. The Unicode character set supports a wider range of alphabets and symbols (including emojis), but only allows up to 70 characters within a single message. Note: Emojis are supported by the Unicode character set, but take 2 characters to send.
If your SMS message exceeds 160 characters (or 70 characters for a Unicode-encoded message), it will be sent as multiple SMS messages, stitched together to appear as one long message on your subscriber’s mobile phone. Keep in mind that this may cause more messages to be sent than you’d expect— a message with 133 GSM-compatible characters and a single Unicode character (like an emoji) will be split into 3 messages when encoded. This would therefore incur charges for 3 SMS messages against your account.
If your MMS message exceeds 160 characters (or 70 characters for a Unicode-encoded message), it will be sent as one MMS and multiple SMS messages. To use the above example, a message with an image, 133 GSM-compatible characters, and a single Unicode character (like an emoji) will be split into 1 MMS and 2 SMS messages when encoded. This would therefore incur charges for 1 MMS and 2 SMS messages against your account.
